Ann Kim is the executive chef at the Garden & Gun Club, where her unique approach to cuisine helps bring the brand’s Southern spirit to life. Born and raised in California's Bay Area, Kim began cooking at a young age, starting as a dishwasher at a ballpark and working her way through roles in various Bay Area restaurants.
Prior to joining the Garden & Gun Club team, Kim consulted on operations and menu development for several West Coast restaurants and served as chef de cuisine at Joya, a popular tapas restaurant in Palo Alto. During her time at Joya, Kim embraced classic Spanish flavors while experimenting with a blend of exotic ingredients and techniques.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for hospitality, Kim brings to the table a fondness for casual, elevated cuisine. At the Garden & Gun Club, she has been instrumental in translating the identity of a modern Southern brand into a first-of-its-kind dining and cocktail experience. Outside the kitchen, Kim spends her time exploring Atlanta, trying new restaurants, traveling for inspiration, and roller-skating.
